Straight answers
How long do I get the totes?
Two full weeks, which covers packing, moving day, and unpacking for most moves. Need longer? Extensions are flat rates by the week or the day, listed in the rate card above.
Are the totes actually clean?
Yes. Every tote is cleaned between rentals and then disinfected with Sol-U-Guard Botanical, an EPA-registered botanical disinfectant that kills over 99.9% of household germs without bleach. Delivered ready to pack. You will not inherit anyone else's moving dust.
Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?
We schedule a window that works for you. If you will not be home, a garage or covered porch drop works fine. Just tell us where to stack them.
Do you help load or move furniture?
We rent the equipment, we do not provide moving labor. The Tote Cart and hand truck make the heavy stuff a lot easier, though.
Do you carry the totes upstairs?
We deliver to your door at ground level, or right inside your garage, free. If the totes have to go up or down stairs at either end, that is a stairs fee and it starts at $50 depending on your package size. There is no charge when there is an elevator, when the door is at ground level, or when you would rather meet us at the truck.
What if a tote gets lost or damaged?
Replacement costs are flat: $10 per tote, $40 per Tote Cart, $150 for the hand truck. Normal wear and tear is on us.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel any time before delivery for a full refund. Once the totes have been delivered, the rental fee for the booked period is non-refundable.
How do I pay?
Secure online checkout through Stripe. You see and accept the full rental agreement before paying, so everything is in writing.
What size are the totes?
Heavy duty 27 gallon contractor-style totes with rigid lids, black with yellow tops. Big enough to matter, small enough to lift when full.
Is the Tote Cart included, or extra?
Included, every time, no extra charge. Twenty totes comes with one cart, forty comes with two, sixty comes with three. The cart is what turns twenty trips to the truck into five.
How far outside Dickinson will you deliver?
Delivery and pickup are free anywhere inside Dickinson. We also run to Gladstone, South Heart, Belfield, Richardton, Taylor, and New England for a small per mile charge. Ask and we will quote your address before you book.
How many totes do I actually need?
Rough rule: 20 totes for a studio or one bedroom, 40 for a two to three bedroom home, 60 for four bedrooms and up. If you are between sizes, tell us your rooms and we will tell you straight, including when the smaller package is enough.

The rental agreement
- The equipment is your responsibility from delivery until we pick it up. Return it as you got it. Normal wear and tear is on us.
- Lost or damaged: $10 per tote, $40 per Tote Cart, $150 for the hand truck.
- Cancel any time before delivery for a full refund. After delivery, the rental fee is non-refundable.
- Need more time? Message us before your pickup date. Extension rates are posted above and subject to availability.
- On pickup day, totes need to be empty and easy to get to.
- No hazardous materials, and no liquids unless they are sealed properly.
Your privacy
- We collect what the rental needs: your name, contact info, delivery and pickup address, and payment handled by Stripe.
- Payments run through Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We contact you to coordinate your rental, and you can ask us to stop non-essential messages any time.
- You can ask to see or delete your personal information any time.

We started TNT Rental because moving is stressful enough without spending your first week hunting boxes and your last week hauling flattened cardboard to the dumpster. We deliver, you pack, we pick up. That is the whole idea.
